Summary: We needed to stay at a place close enough to UMD for a few days and this place fit the bill! Nice, safe, quiet neighborhood. Slightly more buggy but nothing bad at all. Just an FYI since my daughter is squeamish about this kind of things lol. Modern furnishing. All appliances worked well. It is definitely an older home with some wear and tear, small bathrooms and limited counter spaces but everything was clean n functional. We mostly used the two bathrooms and the three bedrooms in the upper level. Basement hosts another bedroom, a bathroom and a second living area. That is where my daughter spent most of her time working on a competition project - separate enough but not isolated from the main living spaces. She was very productive there! Overall a very functional home for our purpose. It is about 15 minutes from UMD which is perfect, and about 35 min from the tourist spots in DC with a very chill, easy drive. Much different n appreciated compared to the Southern California traffic :) The host Eric was communicative, accommodating, and super nice. Thank you for hosting us in your home.
